The song, “Leap of Faith”, is about those that have enough faith and courage to make life-changing and life-altering decisions. Many of us are willing to take such a risk, yet, far too many will continue to walk along the edge and stand in judgment of those that took “the leap” and didn’t make it.

Line-up:
Terry Chism (lead vocalist, keyboardist songwriter)
Rich Ward (guitars, producer, songwriter)

Walking With Kings – Leap of Faith

Leap of Faith
Lyrics by Rich Ward and Terry Chism

Look at my life now,
The coward inside of me
Has torn my heart out
And stolen all that I could be
Where has my faith gone
To step out on the edge
Fearing the failure
Fearing what lies ahead.

How in the world did we make it
When all that we knew was just fakin’?
Is any of this real?
Do you feel the way I do?
If I take my chances
And I risk it all
Do you call me a fool
Or do you feel the way I do?

The time I’ve wasted
Blaming all that I could blame
The mirror tells me
I’m the one that needs to change
But I’m believin’
That there’s a better place.
How can we dream if we never take a leap of faith?

How long have you been standing at the edge
Wondering what’s on the other side?
Don’t be afraid, open up your eyes
And take a leap of faith

Nothing is certain, everything changes,
Mixed up, switched up and rearranging
Embrace your feelings and all of your blessings
The circle of seven like tears from Heaven.
Wet with wonder what a joyous sound,
To help us get back up ‘cause we all fall down.
Analyze and realize the way you’re living
It’s what we make and not what we’re given.

When the rain falls down…

Life doesn’t come with instructions, a handbook, a blueprint, a playbook, a formula
A layout schematic, a diagram, a how-to guide to find your way back home.
